The Stable

After many years of racing an avid cyclist tends to establish their own stable.  A stable is a space of quiet solitude.  This is very similar to a church, but without worship.  To some it may be viewed as materialism, but to the seasoned cyclist it is just a place where old and new bikes settle after and before an EPIC battle.  Many stable are funded by Sponsorship Dollars, and others are just a hobby for the fitness driven.

The STABLE would most likely contain a tool corner, trophies, personal core/strength equipment, shoe pile, kits, pain cave, and of course your bikes.  Walls surrounding a stable are cluttered with containers, pictures, and number plates.  Some cyclists use their garages for stable space, and others keep them under lock and key deep in the depths of their homes.  The following is an example of a quiet Midwestern Stable.
