Bike Laws - La Crosse, WI

Every city, township, and state has their own bike laws that are either written well, cut throat, or shady.  The city La Crosse, WI is no different in that it has many bike ordinances.

Here are a few within the city of La Crosse.....

Sec 44-221 Offenders of bike ordinances 16 years of age and older will be dealt with in the Municipal Court and are no longer juvenils.

Sec 44-222 No Person shall ride a bicycle upon any highway unless registered and tagged.

Sec 44-223 No person shall ride on the sidewalk in the downtown area, which is designated between 7th street and the Mississippi River.
