11 Day MTB RACE Plan

What do you do when you haven't put in the time to train for mtb races, but still want to have fun and stay in your category?  The answer to this question is much easier for a veteran/seasoned rider who has put in many years of progressive training than it is for a beginning rider.  For mtb races your focus is on core, range of motion, dirt skills, meditation, and the size of your match book when you have limited time to work with.  With 20 to 30 minutes a day your focus should be on stretching, mtb skills, and meditation.  You do not need dirt or any obstacles to accomplish this, just your mountain bike.  The following 11-day training plan is useful to someone that just wants to have fun at a race, but has very limited time to work with.
